UPDATE: leaving this entry at the top so it can be used as a reference for IML.
MORE entries below this one.
There’s quite a few events going on at IML this year that have my interest. The majority of them are on Friday Night. I added some information on some of the events in the sidebar. Below are 3 events I’m really looking forward to.
IML 2008: IML turns 30
IML’s first GEARBLAST, produced by ScubcaCCS, has a great deal of hype as everyone knows how successful and FUN FUN FUN the MAL GEARBLAST parties have been. This is the perfect event for anyone just getting into the BDSM/Fetish Scene because you’ll find EVERY fetish here. From Sports Gear to Uniforms to Rubber. Something for everyone without the attitude.
Chicago Rubbermen Party: before hitting the Gear Blast 2008 party, come on over to the Chicago Rubbermen’s first (and definitely not the last) IML Party. You don’t have to own rubber or latex to attend we enjoy all sorts of gear. Preferably something TIGHT.
B.L.U.F.: Breeches Leather and Uniform Fan club: the premier leather and uniform “club” on the internet is having another party at IML in 2008, this time organized by “KAKE”. Those who lust after men with that Tom of Finland uniform look are in heaven here (that’d be yours truly). I attended the first BLUF party in San Francisco back in 1997 when the membership was around 200 members. There’s well over 2000 men into Leather Uniforms, Tall Boots, Gloves and Caps in the club now. Many of them attending IML. Boot boys take note. You’ll get a good “meal” at this party.
LA&M Silent Auction: No used items at this auction. Lots of great new fetish and BDSM related materials including artwork. Click Here for Auction Items and other Info.
Great list of events, but how about the play parties? MAFIA, Hellfire, Treasure Island Media and DickWadd all usually have play parties. Why not list these too?
Hey, Make sure you stop by Hot House and introduce yourself as a blogger to Steven Scarborough and Brent Smith and send them my love and that I’ll see them both on the 19th in S.F. You should also introduce yourself to Alan Breslaw. He’s their affiliate manager. He can set you up as an affiliate if you want. Their program makes pretty good money for bloggers.
Have fun!
