Sacramento Leather Weekend
Sacramento, CA – The Bolt Bar in Sacramento is proud to host Sacramento Leather Weekend, Friday February 14 through Sunday February 16. The Bolt is located at 2560 Boxwood Street in Sacramento . There’s NEVER a cover at the Bolt!
Sacramento Leather Weekend will feature a cigar social, formal leather dinner at a popular Sacramento restaurant, and leather activities and demonstrations.
“ Sacramento hasn’t had a leather pride weekend since the last Sacramento Valley Heat in 2011,” said Mr. Bolt Leather 2014 Matt Bunch. “This is shaping up to be the biggest yet!”
A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Shriners Hospital and Mama’s Family, the largest leather family in the world with 1,700 members. Founded in San Francisco by Mama Sandy Reinhardt, a stalwart advocate for the LGBT leather community, Mama’s boys and girls each year raise hundreds of thousands for numerous charities, including toy drives to supply holiday presents for needy or sick children. As Mama always says, “Ask yourself, ‘What can I do to make a difference?’ Then do it from your heart!”
Funds raised will also help send Mr. Bolt Leather 2014 Matt Bunch to represent Sacramento ‘s leather community at International Mister Leather in Chicago this May.
The three days of celebrations begin on Friday, February 14 with a Cigar Social at the Bolt, where Daddies and their boys are encouraged to come out, puff a stogie, and enjoy the evening on the Bolts back patio or around the fire pit. Everyone is invited to wear their leather gear, and those who come out in full leather will be treated to nightlong drink specials.
Saturday night will kick things off with a first for Sacramento , a Leather Dinner with some of the men of the Breeches Leather and Uniform Fan Club (BLUF) coming to join the fun. Men in full formal leather will be having dinner at a local restaurant. RSVP for this very special dinner at mrbolt2014@sacbolt.com.
Then the heat gets turned up even higher with some big name porn stars coming to the Bolt and letting you see up close and personal what has made them BIG stars. There will also be kinky demonstrations, raffles, and a whole lot more.
“We don’t advertise our kinky activities outside of bar hours,” Bunch said, “but I’m sure we will have guys literally hanging from the rafters!” There will also be drink specials for hunky men who bare their chests.
Sunday afternoon is a day for recovery. “We will feed your hangover with our Sunday afternoon BBQ and beer bust from 3 to 8 p.m.” said Bunch. “But that doesn’t mean the party is over, and we’ll keep it going with another night of hot men, demonstrations and music.”
Except for the Leather Dinner, all events will be held at the Bolt Bar, 2560 Boxwood St., where there is never a cover and will include beer/soda busts and the ever-popular J-ello shots.
