Hello Readers!
As many of you know, I started this blog nearly 20 years ago on a simple “Blogger” template. At the time it was one of the first Fetish/BDSM blogs on the internet. At first, I used it to share content I was into to potential SIRs & boys as well as to promote many Fetish events, charities, educational sources and funny memes. It was very casual blogging. Eventually, “Blogger” became difficult to work with so I turned it into a full time dot come and also started to make a small profit from affiliate programs which helped me to travel. Wow. As I type this, I have the biggest smile on my face thinking about all the wonderful people I have met because of this hobby. I met my first boy, my first real SIR and 2 loving Daddies became of this blog. So many great memories.
All that said… here comes the tough part.
After the horrible election results in the USA, I started to spend less time online. In particular, on X, where alongside Tumblr, TikTok and YouTube, I’d find a great deal of content that you’d see in blog entries. While taking a step back, I’ve found myself with more free time for many neglected hobbies that make me happier and fulfilled and limits negative doom scrolling. I’m also spending more quality time with my loved ones (the 2 and 4 legged ones).
The idea of ending my blog makes me very sad but after much thought I do think it’s time to continue spending more time doing things that are more based in IRL. I’ve a month until HostGator bills me so if there’s any content you’d like to save before it all disappears… have at it. I’ll definitely be saving some personal entries for prosperity.
I also want to acknowledge all the messages and conversations I’ve had with people who have told me that this blog helped with their journey into the Fetish/BDSM world. With discovering themselves. I’m still flattered my silly hobby helped others.
I’m not, you know… “retiring from the kink world” as so many people do as they get older. I’m still attending events like MAL, CODE night Chicago, MIR, Folsom EU etc and I’m on the usual socials like “Kinkstagram”, RECON and BlueSky. Check out my LinkTree below if you’d like to follow.
