blog image “First Ever Event” Mr. Rubber Cleveland 2008, was held February 29th, March 1st and March 2nd. The weekend of events was hosted by Cocktails Cleveland (R & J Leather Productions Home Bar).

Special THANKS to Mr. Gregg Lakota, Mr. Ohio Leather 2008 for being our Master of Ceremonies. Lets not forget, Robert Bess (boy ian), Mr. Cleveland Leather 2006-2007, for all his help as our Event Coordinator. We want to thank Mr. Gregg Lakota, Mr. Robert Bess, Brian Lyons Cocktials Owner and the panel of judges for aiding R & J Leather Productions in our Vision of “The Unity of the Leather and Gay Community”.

Congratulations to our contestants for a job done WELL! You all made us very proud with your thoughts and sportsmanship displayed. It was a tight race for you and thank you for entering the “First Time EVER” Mr. Rubber Cleveland 2008.

To aid the community, R & J also organized a “First Time Ever” Leather Auction and a 50/50 raffle to benefit NOCI Charities. Items were donated to NOCI for Auction on Saturday Night. Totals for this event raised $836 for their Charity Fund. Northern Ohio Coalition Inc. helps out those who are living with HIV, aiding them with their everyday life and burial needs. Thank You for your support and donations for this great charity.
