UPDATE: Unfortunately due to world events we won’t be on the Daily Show this evening. As soon as they confirm a date we will let you guys know.

San Francisco didn’t even make the Advocates Top 10 Gayest city list this year (we only came in 11th). What the fuck was that about! So the Daily Show came to San Francisco to see what happened to our fair, used-to-be gay city to see if they could find even a glimmer of its former gayness. Correspondent Jason Jones stopped by our shop and our fearless leader Richard Hunter showed him some of our amazing products in hopes that he could convince him. We don’t want to give anything away but anyone who knows Richard knows that he usually gets his way!

A few weeks ago, the crew from Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, came into visit the Mr. S Leather store here in San Francisco. Evidently, the gay magazine. “The Advocate”had ranked San Francisco #11 in the USA in their list of the Gayest cities. San Francisco #11…what the Fuck is that about. Well to prove that San Francisco deserves better then eleven, Jason Jones came to SF to prove that SF is still pretty fucking Gay.

Jason was a ‘Good Sport’ as he got a lot more then he probably expected as he toured Mr. S and saw more then he ever thought he’d be exposed to with sex toys and fetish gear. We also took him upstairs and tied him to our spinning cross and spun him around. I’m sure this was one of the more unusual assignments he’d been given. Knowing how The Daily Show edits their shoots, I’m sure this will be pretty funny as to how the Leather scene comes off looking. They promised they’d be nice to us…. we’ll see.

The air date is this Tuesday night March 29th… 11PM in the East…. 8PM in the West….Comedy Central. That Tomorrow night. Now Our segment ‘could’ be bumped if major world news is breaking… but then it would be rescheduled and we’ll let you know any new dates they gives us.

So Tune in and let’s see if San Francisco is still gay enough to be higher then #11. What the hell was the criterion for this ranking anyway? I was in the media myself for some 20 years before taking over ownership of Mr. S so it was really fun being on the other side of the cameras being interviewed. It was a really big deal for us to have been asked to be apart of the best show on television.

“BOUND IN PUBLIC” LIVE TAPING AT MR S LEATHER!

Here’s some advanced photos from the “Bound in Public” **LIVE SHOW** that was filmed at Mr S Leather recently. Thanks to the Booted Buddha for sharing these.

“It really was a great night…. Hot guys and very sexy scenes for over 3 hours. About 50 customers stayed and came for the evening and many joined in, some just watched… along with Van’s crew of about 12. In fact I actually took part and did some flogging on the boy and roughed him up… first time I’ve done anything like this since my accident last July. It felt really good to be able to not only hold the flogger again, but to actually wield it accurately against his back. You might even see that part when the video is released on Bound in Public later. The boy must have sucked 20 different cocks that night and probably got some nasty rug burns on his knees from crawling all around the Mr. S store. Lots of cock sucking, Bondage, electricity, and fucking… just the right place for all of this at the store. I wonder if Safeway would be a good place for their next shoot?

When the full release is done on Bound in Public… there will be a very long video of all of this and hundreds of great pictures as well. This is just a small sample to wet your appetite. “

Fun Times at Mr S Leather in San Francisco

As you may know, we love to visit our local Mr. S store in San Francisco because we never know what will be happening when we arrive. On this day we were able to photograph the test of a neoprene sleepsack by two store employees. This type of sleepsack is very snug, durable, and easy to wash. As a matter of fact, we own one ourselves and photograph it often for our web sites. It has a heavy front zipper and the traditional internal sleeves.

In these photos you will see that the guys had a lot of fun with the sack, especially when it was suspended over a Dungeon Bed steel bondage bed frame which can also be purchased on the Mr. S web site. I had a good laugh when the suspension part of the test was underway and one of the guys announced “almost nobody has died from doing this”. A special thanks to the Mr. S store and its employees for allowing us to photograph their crazy antics. Imagine having a job where bondage play is part of your daily responsibilities?
