“MANHOLE” Party in Chicago

SATURDAY, APRIL 13, 2013

Featuring DJ Ted Eiel

$10 Must be in gear of choice or shirtless to enter Red Bar.

All men, all ages, all shapes, all scenes are welcome. MANHOLE was a nightclub located in the space where HYDRATE currently operates that closed in 2002. MANHOLE events are to honor the spirit of the former club and provide a dance floor for those who may not enjoy the typical dance club scene.

“Few Boystown spots have enjoyed as much thump in the night as the former Manhole, a late-night club with a low-key front room and a cruisy, dress-code-enforced back bar—a place where button-down boys let loose during its legendary blackout and underwear parties.” – J. Heidemann, Time Out Chicago

“Lube Filled Hamster Ball” at MIR 2012

“The transparent hamster ball contained 2 gallons of liquid J-Lube. The poor gimp inside the ball was wearing padded rubber helpless mitts and a heavy rubber hood with blindfold. All he could do was tumble and slosh around inside the ball as it was rolled around the vender market. He could not see or remove the mitts, and the zipper was on the outside of the ball, so he was trapped inside and totally screwed!”

Liquid Latex Demo at MIR 2013

A few photos of “PupStriker” taken by SERIOUS MALE BONDAGE of the Liquid Latex Demo done at MIR 2013 this year.

“The latex skin guy was locked in a bondage ‘ F iddle’ and then sprayed from head to toe with liquid latex. Once the latex was dried he was unlocked from the F iddle and a manual touch-up job was done with a brush. Then he walked around the vendor market in his latex skin. Afterwards, the latex pealed off fairly easily with a lot of tickling and laughter”.

A few pics from MIR 2013

Had myself an unexpected cute and muscular Rubber Puppy with me most of MIR this year so I didn’t take many high quality photos. Here’s a few from my iPhone.

Love how one shot from an iPhone is amazing… and the next is crap. Love ya, but, keep working at it, Apple.

Chicago Halloween Parade *CHANGE*

Slight change of plans for Halloween in Chicago this year.  Chicago’s Halloween is *OVER THE TOP* fun.  The parade is always spectacular and the costumes are always top notch.

“The parade will be starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday October 31, later than in years past, with a pre-party and costume registration from 4 to 6 p.m. at Circuit Nightclub, located at 3641 N Halsted, just south of Waveland where the new parade route kicks off. For the first time since it’s inception, the Parade route is lengthening and also flipping directions, traveling from Waveland in the north to Belmont in the south instead of the usual south to north route”.

Chicago Rubbermen Party this weekend

October Bar Night – RUBBERIZE the Newbies

“I don’t have any rubber yet…Do you have anything I can borrow to wear…I don’t want to be the only one in the bar not in rubber.”

Calling all newbies, the curious, the uninitiated, the unrubberized – THIS MONTH IS FOR YOU! Our October bar night will feature a gear try on night. If you have a friend who is curious but uncertain, we’ll be dressing and shining up volunteers in borrowed gear. The Rubbermen received a significan donation of rubber (sizes small, medium, and some large) and we’d like to try it out on everyone! Also, if you are looking to sell your gear at MIR and want to generate interest, bring your gear and show it off before you sell it. All the fun kicks off on Saturday, October 20 at 10:30 PM at Touche, located at 6412 North Clark Street in Chicago.

MIR is here! Volunteers Still Needed
