RUFF THOUGHTS: Daddy & boy flogging at Folsom
Ran across this today. Brief video of my Daddy and I doing flogging demos at Folsom Street Fair (at 1:23 in the video). This was the first time I had flogged anyone in public. Won’t lie, I was a a bit nervous. I was encouraged by my Daddy that I knew what I was doing and that I had a fantastic Puppy to work with who was very communicative (and TOUGH!). I quickly forgot there was anyone else there but me and the Puppy. It was sort of a breakthrough scene for us both as he had never been flogged in public before either.
Each time the Puppy needed a break… I’d hold, stroke and kiss him. When he was ready for more… he’d wag his Tail yelling “SIR, more please, SIR!”.
What a day that was. With my Daddy there, complimenting me later, I felt like I had come full circle. Just an amazing day. One I won’t forget.

Scenes from an Intense Flogging at Folsom Street Fair
From what I understand, the story behind these photos is that the boy’s MASTER told Richard that in the boy’s culture, they do not show much emotion, much less cry. He was told that the boy would not call out a Safeword. That he never does. Just not the way he was raised.
So, needless to say, this was a challenge for Richard. The boy kept asking for more. To the stranger’s eye at the fair, this started as something scary to watch, but ended in something very beautiful and even spiritual, especially after 30+ minutes when the boy broke down and cried. Richard and the boy’s MASTER held him. He was all smiles of appreciation, riding on an adrenaline high the rest of the day.
Can you imagine what it’d be like to be raised as a child to never display any sort of emotion, always holding it all in because you did not want to be considered Weak… only to publicly break like this? This would change your life. You can’t buy an emotional release like that. I will *NEVER* forget this scene. Epic.

And the Folsom Street Fair photos start appearing online…
Off to San Francisco for Folsom!
Off to San Francisco in the morning to help out at Mr S Leather again during the city’s LEATHER WEEK. Just thinking about the memories I have of SF and the street fairs brings a big smile to my face. I’m lucky to have an extended family out there that cares for me as much as I do them. The fairs are fun and all… but I go to see these crazy, funny and twisted friends of mine…. “Poopie”, “Stinky Puppy”, “Chicken Bucket” and “Kitty”. Respectably. Of course. (Maybe)
Feel free to stop by and say hello. Mr S is having a In Store Party (aka FREE BEER) on Saturday. Here’s the LINK to the party. See ya around!

Happy Birthday to Joe’s Barbershop in San Francisco!
Happy 7th Anniversary to Joe’s Barber Shop in San Francisco. I deeply admire a man who follows a dream and makes it happen, much like Joe has.
You can book appointments in advance via his website, especially for Folsom Street Fair weekend. Always a busy weekend for men wanting the best cut possible for the event.
Football Gear in the Mr S Locker Room
For those going to Folsom Street Fair this year, be sure to stop by and check out the new LOCKER ROOM at Mr. S Leather. Especially, if you have a Sports Gear Fetish. For those familiar with the store, it used to be their Madame S section. “HOLY FUCK!” I yelled as I walked in for the first time in July. What they’d done with it is spectacular. It’s a total make over. The photos online do not do it justice. It’s so much bigger than it looks.
They have just about everything you can think of. If the weather is Hot during the fair (and it usually is), maybe it’s time to go in Football Gear out to the big street party. I’ve already picked out my own Football Gear to wear. Hopefully, I won’t be “Stinky Puppy’s” Twin… (not a bad thing though).
